ein Informatik-Physik-Kolloquium zum Thema "What defines progress in near-term quantum computing?".

Wir freuen uns, Dich bei uns willkommen zu heißen.

Recent advances in experimental quantum devices have pushed the boundary of quantum advantage claims beyond sampling tasks[1], a critical step towards all known quantum computing applications. As we progress into early fault-tolerance in the next five years [2], questions of which applications remain feasible for quantum computers, what new algorithms and applications remain to be found, and how can the field best focus its efforts towards quantum benefit, remain open and intriguing. In this talk I will cover recent advances from Quantum AI in this area [1,2,3,4], and detail the areas we think are the most in need of attention from the quantum community.
